The Killing Joke Joker - A Closer Look

For our second Closer Look, I've gone for Knight Models' The Killing Joke Joker - arguably the most classic iteration of the Joker to be turned into a model so far by Knight.

There are currently 4 Joker models available - Arkham City Joker, Titan Joker, Heath Ledger Joker and The Killing Joke Joker. He comes in at 100 Rep, so he's the 2nd most expensive Joker behind Titan Joker (who clocks in at 130 Rep)

He comes in 3 pieces - body, head and arms with cane. Like all regular Knight Models game miniatures, he is made from white metal.

The arms join at the shoulder and even attached to the sprue, they dry fit quite well.

The Killing Joke Joker is available direct from Knight Models, or from any retailer that stocks the Batman Miniature Game for around £11-13.

A side note - For those that collect BMG (or Marvel stuff), our collection spreadsheets have been updated to include Knight's Pre-orders here.

Edit - It's been pointed out that the shots of the face don't really show it off that well. With that in mind, I'm going to start trying out washing metal models in ink before photo time in future - here's how he looks with some ink on his face to bring the details out.

  1. The ink really helps showcase the model. I always feel that metal models are difficult to see until primer hits them. The ink is a great way of showcasing it, without locking you into priming the models.
