Arnold Schwarzenegger Show case.

Image result for Showcase

This has been a great way to learn something new and doing something that started as a playing with colour I feel turned out to be a good finished model.

He once said "I'll be back" and now I am to finish him off!!

Arnold Schwarzenegger Pt 2.

I do understand this is not an official part two, because of the fact I did not really do a part one, but because I enjoy the work on was doing on it from the post Enough is Enough I thought I would finish it official even though it is an off cast and I did not sort out mold line and that's because I did not plan to finish I wanted to use it as a play model so to speak, but anyway here we go to finsih it.

Kharis, Vampire Queen Bust from Kabuki Studio - An Unboxing

Today's post sees me unboxing Kharis, the Vampire Queen from Kabuki Studio. She's a 1/8th Scale bust made of resin and comes including a plinth.

Unboxing Hunger & Lust from Broken Toad

While I was wondering through the Asylum Wargaming webstore looking at all the pretty things on there, I spotted that they had added both the Wonderlands Transition set and Hunger & Lust to their Broken Toad range. While I'm not a fan of the Wonderlands stuff (too chaotic and creepy for me in style), I've been thinking about picking up Hunger & Lust since Broken Toad released it. What held me back? Well, I haven't actually done anything with the trio of BT busts I picked up and unboxed back in November. I decided that since I was ordering some Guild Ball stuff, I'd stick the bust in the basket as well, as it would be a few weeks before I'd have to think about finding a place in the cupboard for it.

I was a little surprised to get an email a couple of days later to say that the bust was on it's way as the guys at Asylum had split the order up into stuff they had, and stuff they were waiting on.

The bust arrived on Thursday, complete with Easter Egg and Yorkshire Tea bag - great service from Asylum.

The Broken Toad Bust Set - Skin Deep, Paradise Lost and The Wicken King - An Unboxing.

It's a familiar story with me. Company releases shiny things, I try and resist until another shiny thing is released and in the end I break down and buy more shiny things than I intended - the Broken Toad Bust Bundle.

In this case, I started out just wanting Paradise Lost, but held off. Then it was mentioned to me that I'd really like the next release they had coming out - Skin Deep - and indeed I did like Skin Deep. I went looking at the Broken Toad webstore and decided that while £75 for the two busts I really wanted as alright, £90 for 3 busts sounded a lot better, so I went for the bundle including The Wicken King as well.

Paradise Lost - The Fallen Angel from Broken Toad

A relative newcomer to the game, Broken Toad are fast becoming known for their awesome busts. Both their Tooth Fairy and Wicken King are fantasically creepy and have rightly been getting a lot of praise.

They have recently released their new bust Paradise Lost for pre-order, and as you can see, she certainly matches up in the quality stakes.

Unboxing Kabuki's Bonny Anne Bust (NSFW)

Back in March, Kabuki released previews of their 1/8 Scale Bonny Anne bust. I liked the look of her, so asked Brett at the Wamp Store to grab me one when shipping my Kickstarter order. And so, here she is!

As the title says, beyond this point could be considered NSFW. Mainly because that vest top you can see on the box art? That's an optional piece.

Wamp Brushes Kickstarter (And Extras!) Unboxing

A few months back, I helped out with the production and running of a Kickstarter project with Brett over at Wamp. His idea was to get a set of brushes developed specifically for miniature painters from the best materials. Fast forward a few weeks from that and we exceeded our wildest expectations by hitting over £42k and over 6000 brushes, which were only slightly larger figures than the £850 and 160 Brushes we needed to produce to hit the minimum.

Add in a little time for pledge management, production and shipping, which brings me up to Saturday morning, when a large box arrived for me.

Yes, there is other stuff in the box, but that's secret and will be revealed over the coming weeks ;)
