Purgatory's Siren - A Closer Look

For the final A Closer Look for a little while, I had quite a choice to make. In one hand I had the new Toughest Girls in the Galaxy Freebies from Raging Heroes' second Kickstarter. In the other I had Siren from Purgatory. There are probably dozens of blogs and videos about the former already, so I'm going with Siren (whom I like more anyway ;) )

ArcWorlde Njorsvald Preview Set - A Closer Look

As you should have heard by now, Warploque Miniatures are heading back to Kickstarter at the end of September to fund the production of their new ArcWorlde Expansion - Troubles in the North. They've taken an interesting step in releasing a small number of models that will appear in the campaign in lovely Warploque Resin. In today's A Closer Look, we'll be taking a peek at the Njorsvald Preview Set.

Tilly Tumbleworth from Statuesque Miniatures - A Closer Look

After last week's foray into playing cards we're back with miniatures for today's Closer Look. More specifically, we're looking at Tilly Tumbleworth from Statuesque Miniatures.

ArcWorlde Tarot Deck - A Closer Look

A slightly different Closer Look today - not minitures but the lovely new ArcWorlde Tarot Deck from Warploque Miniatures.

Shae, Elven Ranger from Heresy Miniatures - A Closer Look

We're back with Heresy Miniatures for this week's A Closer Look at Shae the Elven Ranger.

Dimension Hop Tesla (54mm) from Infamy Miniatures - A Closer Look

Following on from last week's up scaled A Closer Look at Tundra from Wonderlands Project, it's time to look at the recent release from Infamy Miniatures - a 54mm version of Dimension Hop Tesla.

Tundra from Wonderlands Project (Mauser Earth) - A Closer Look

So far on A Closer Look, I've been looking at miniatures in the 28-35mm scale. Now though, it's time to move up to 54mm with Tundra, part of the Mauser Earth range currently available through Wonderlands Project.

The Ant Queen from Ax Faction - A Closer Look

We've got a very special Closer Look today, and it's one I'm rather excited about - the new Ant Queen miniature from Ax Faction. Ax Faction as a store closed it's doors last year, but Paul is still keeping things ticking over on the back burner as a hobby, which leads us to this little beauty.

Jack The Ripper from West Wind Productions - A Closer Look

We're going back through time for this week's A Closer Look, coming face to face with Jack The Ripper, from Empire Of The Dead by West Wind Productions.

Erishkigal from Purgatory - A Closer Look

Today's Closer Look is focused on Purgatory's latest lovely lady - The Host of The Soul Train, the Fallen Angel Erishkigal.

Gambit from Knight Models - A Closer Look

This week's A Closer Look sees us venture into the Marvel Universe Miniatures Game from Knight Models, with Remy LeBeau, better known as Gambit.

Ltd Ed Flint from Guild Ball - A Closer Look

Welcome to another exciting edition of A Closer Look. This week we return to the Guild Ball pitch with the 2016 Limited Edition Flint, who plays for the Masons.

Sir Godric from Heresy Miniatures - A Closer Look

In this weeks A Closer Look, we open up Sir Godric, a Paladin from Heresy Miniatures.

Meagan The Buccaneer from Bombshell Babes - A Closer Look

In today's Closer Look, I'm moving away from gaming minis. Instead, we have Meagan The Buccaneer, from the Babes range from Bombshell Miniatures. Here she is, painted up by Meg Maples:

The Killing Joke Joker - A Closer Look

For our second Closer Look, I've gone for Knight Models' The Killing Joke Joker - arguably the most classic iteration of the Joker to be turned into a model so far by Knight.

Fillet from Guild Ball - A Closer Look

Welcome to a new style of post from us here at Noobs and their Paintbrush. We like our unboxings here, but sometimes, while the minis are awesome, they just don't quite justify a full, in depth unboxing. With that in mind, you might start to see posts like this one popping up occasionally - just a collection of shots of miniatures we particularly like, straight out the packaging. A closer look, if you will ;)

First up is Fillet, the new Butcher's Guild Captain from Guild Ball.
