Knight Models March Releases

No Marvel stuff in this month's Knight Models releases, everything is about the Batman Miniatures Game.

Along with the 2nd Edition Rulebook going on general release, there are 3 blisters of miniatures and some tokens.

First up is the Rulebook itself. 168 pages and hard back, it was on pre-order until 15th Feb with a limited run Alfred or Red Hood Joker model (depending on which you bought). Now it's up for general release, you just get the book.

Next up is the big hitter - probably the biggest hitter in BMG so far - The Joker, who has been pumped full of Titan formula, as seen in the Arkham City video game. He's a white metal multi part mini and comes with a 40mm base. He should probably go on a bigger one, but Knight have made it clear the biggest they'll go in BMG is 40mm as to go bigger would mean too much rule re-writing or adjusting. There aren't many scale pictures knocking around yet, but rumours are that he is as big as Hulk from the Marvel range. 37.19 Euros from Knight directly, no word yet on prices from UK retailers (such as Element who will have 10% off him)

Next up are two blisters of Henchmen. They might not be the stand out names that will sell to painters and collectors, but they are vital for those that play the game and want a little variety.

First up we have a mercenaries blister pack. 2 white metal models, one armed with twin ice picks and one armed with a shotgun - 14.88 Euros. These guys can either join a Bane crew or a League of Shadows crew.

The second blister of henchmen contains 2 white metal models for the until now very under-resourced Black Mask Crew. The same price as the other henchmen pack and you get one armed with baseball bat and another with brass knuckles.

Finally for this release, we have a pack of 8 "Take The Lead" tokens. Without reading the rules I have no idea what they are for, but they look rather nifty. 7.07 Euros gets you a pack.

So, one massive mini, a couple of well needed gang filler packs and of course the all important rulebook. With this month being DC focused, I predict we might see a couple of Marvel releases next month to balance things out a little.
