Dimension Hop Tesla (54mm) from Infamy Miniatures - A Closer Look

Following on from last week's up scaled A Closer Look at Tundra from Wonderlands Project, it's time to look at the recent release from Infamy Miniatures - a 54mm version of Dimension Hop Tesla.

Plating up the Infamy Miniatures Full English Pledge - Part 4: Brunch

Welcome to the final part of my Infamy: Welcome to the Big Smoke Kickstarter unboxing. I've titled it Brunch, as it crosses the divide between the Full English pledge I picked up in the Kickstarter and the new, pre-release toys that have arrived courtesy of the recent Infamy One Shot Kickstarter (which was unboxed earlier in the week by Shamikebab here)

I'd also like to take a moment to say sorry for the delay! This has been the largest unboxing I've done since I received all of my Guild Ball Kickstarter models and it's been quite spread out. If you missed any sections, here are Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.

Plating up the Infamy Miniatures Full English Pledge - Part 3: Elevensies

Welcome to a slightly delayed Part 3 of my Infamy Miniatures Full English KS Unboxing. After the unnamed Part 1 and Part 2: Second Breakfast comes Elevensies. In this Unboxing, I'll be looking at The Quaker, The Paranormal, Mr Dodgson, the now retired Frank Hyde, Oscar and finally the fierce looking Jo March.

Goblin Chieftain One Shot from Infamy Miniatures on Kickstarter

Fresh off the back of getting almost all of the Infamy: Welcome To The Big Smoke pledges out the door, it's time for something completely different from Infamy Miniatures - The Goblin Chieftain.

Plating up the Infamy Miniatures Full English Pledge - Part 2: Second Breakfast!

Last week I started unboxing my rather hefty box of resin goodies from the Infamy Miniatures: Welcome To The Big Smoke Kickstarter. This week, we're back for more of the Full English, in what most Hobbits call "Second Breakfast". I have to take their word for this, as I'm 6 foot 4.

Plating Up the Infamy Miniatures Full English Pledge - Part 1

It's finally here! After a couple of technical hitches and production delays, almost all of the Infamy: Welcome To The Big Smoke pledges have now been shipped. I'd previously picked up The Infamy Ton and the 54mm Tesla and Sgt Crookes to keep me occupied until my pledge arrived, and in some form of festive miracle, it arrived a couple of days ago.

Before we go any further, this post is very picture heavy - just under 100 images (it was more, but blogger didn't like it!), and shows probably just under half of the miniatures and content that arrived.

The Collection - A Tale of Resin, Metal and "Ooh, Shiny"

I've gained a reputation in some forums for having what some call "an addiction". I just like to think of it as I collect miniatures. I was recently challenged to take pictures of everything I've acquired. To narrow this down, I've gone just for the pictures of things that are either Work In Progress, Built or Still Boxed - Nothing finished at all.

Unboxing 54mm Telsa and Crookes from Infamy Miniatures

A while back, I posted an unboxing blog about The Infamy Ton. I picked it up online but if I'd have picked it up at Salute, I'd have had the chance to switch out some of the items for 54mm models of Tesla and Sgt Crookes.

Thankfully, for Nikola Tesla's birthday, James opened up the Infamy store with these two limited edition miniatures in it - and they're only going to be available during 2015. James also opened up the chance to split the shipping batches on any Kickstarter goodies, but I resisted taking that option as I want to receive everything in one big box.

Basius 2 From Wargames Bakery - Getting Started and the Projects to Come

They're here at last! Earlier this week I got to experience the rush that you get when you find a box of Kickstarter goodies waiting for you. In this instance, it was two large resin squares from Wargames Bakery. Well actually, it was two of their new Basius 2 basing mold pads from their Kickstarter that was run between September and October last year. After a few delays, they were all delivered to Mantic last week, and shipped out this week.

Unboxing The Infamy Ton

I got a nice surprise on Saturday - a box from Element Games. Initially I wondered what it could be, as I'd only placed an order the evening before and wasn't expecting anything else from them. It then hit me that recently I'd seen a post on Facebook that James from Infamy had recently had a trip to EG to discuss the shipping of his Welcome to the Big Smoke Kickstarter so I was delighted to find my Infamy Ton inside, ordered online during Salute weekend.
