Some of you might remember Brambleten doing a big three part review
of the Infamy Kickstarter (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) I didn't go in for
the original myself but recently Infamy launched the first of a
series of 'one shot' kickstarters. Small campaigns to fund a single
new miniature. This is more up my street, only one mini to add to the
pile of shame! The Goblin Chieftain is sculpted by Valentin Zak who has previously sculpted miniatures for Mierce Miniatures and Studio Mcvey among others. The miniature is 32mm scale and comes in at 60mm tall.
Another great side effect of being a small campaign means that it's
shipped 3 months ahead of schedule! That is a first for a Kickstarter
campaign!
The mini ships in a rather nice little collectors tin with a sticker
on the side, a nice change from the standard cardboard box.
Opening up the tin and you're greeted with a ton of foam to keep your
mini snug.
Remove the foam and we find the minis (the campaign came with a free
Infamy model from the previous campaign, I went for Mad Pete
(pictures can be seen in Brambleten's review in Part 2 from the links at the start of the article) also a little card with concept art and a signed number.
Here is all the components laid out, there are some plugs to remove
but it all seems fairly simple to do.
Here is the rider first, a goblin with a lance and shield. Detail is
sharp on all components!
And here is the beast, comes with an option of little wings or
smaller bone like protrusions.
If you missed out on the KS and want one of these then Infamy are
taking preorders for pickup from the Salute convention in London,
currently the only way to get this model.
Follow the Noobs and their Paintbrush page on Facebook where we'll be
sure to share links when the next One Shots campaigns launch.
