On Sunday I was at the Sutton Coldfield Model show and thought I would share with you all some of the models on display.
First off we have a Terminator walking through a pile of skulls.
First off we have a Terminator walking through a pile of skulls.
Spider man and in the background you can make out The Hulk
I think this is a Spartan warrior I am not too good with my history in this time frame.
This is a display made by the model car museum.
An idea of some of the tables.
A ww2 boat moored at a dock.
Warhammer seems to always find their way into a show here and there.
Have seen this bust done a lot but she seems a lot more grumpy then usual, which I think has something to do with the eyes.
A UN tank in a snowing setting.
A nice scene with tank crew and civilians interacting.
Battle scene showing Germans.
Germans in the winter of ww2.
A scene of what looks like the African campaign.
A very fun little model of a dwarf in a goblin dungeon on a rack
(this was on a high self hard to get it all in)
Another little scene with allied artillery.
Soldiers off to war.
We all heard of Man Vs Food This is Man Vs Tank.
A sci-fi table I am sure people out there will now what some of these are.
A very nice car. I like to joke with a member who builds these and tell him to go to Toys-Rs-us it is faster and cheaper.
This is a pencil drawing that was on a table with a helicopter theme .
Another fun little scene with a dwarf fight off some Skeletons.
When you have to catch them all why not fly in style!
Another example of a table at the show.
Not seen a canal boat before at a show before makes you think what can't you find a model of.
Ghost Busters with working lights.
A very good in comabat boat.
A wipe out during a bike race very nice to see new ideas that I have not seen before.
Normandy landing.
German plane taking out a bomber by flying through it at the time I thought it was a Japanse plane.
Not sure what this scene was about, but there is a lot of this going on with the army and civilians.
Next we have an overhead of the main hall
And finally we have an artillery scene from ww2.
Really enjoyed the Show they are great to go to for lots of reasons meet people who also like what we all do. See what is around I.e Kits and also there are a lot of inspirational modals as well.
If any of you looking at this fancy going to a show but not sure if there are any have a look on the IPMS UK site they have all shows around the country which you can see here. Also, as we are all modelers I also ask people to do to support these shows so they are still able to be put on.
